Manchester United -0.5 (10 Units)
The entire world is anti-Manchester United right now after a full week of being bashed by pundits and everyone else who covers the Premier League but this is a great time to bet them after their season opening disaster last week. I have a feeling Ronaldo will be in the starting 11 this week and sure they lost to Brighton 2-1 last week but this is a great bounce back spot away from the pressure of all their fans. These two teams played each other twice last season in the Premier League and United won both times to the tune of 3-1 away from home and 3-0 at Old Trafford. Brentford actually shocked everyone last week with their 2-2 draw at Leiscester City where they came from behind late which is one of the reasons we have these odds in this one and not something shorter on the Manchester United side. You will find this hard to believe but United have not won an away Premier League match since a 4-2 win at Leeds United on February 20, 2022 (keep in mind the EPL season had some Covid issues and they only played 6 away matches after that the rest of the way and lost all of them). The stats don't back them but I'm going with Manchester United to silence the critics at least for this week.
Trend of the Game: Manchester United went 2-0 SU versus Brentford last season outscoring them 6-1 in those games.
